Discover Long Beach Airport Through New App

Making your way through Long Beach Airport is easier than ever with the recently launched LGB Airport app available for free download on mobile devices. The app allows you to look up information for flight arrivals and departures; track specific flights; find parking information; and features listings for concessions. With the new app you can also easily "check-in" to the most used social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, making it more convenient to let your friends and family know that you are safely traveling.

Travelers can plan a fun-filled weekend in Long Beach as a listing of future special events and conferences can be found on the app. Detailed maps offer quick links to airline information; ground transportation options; and terminal layout. With this app passengers will be allowed access to almost all of their Long Beach travel needs.

"Long Beach Airport is providing a service that helps passengers alleviate some of the discomfort of today's travel," said Airport Director Mario Rodriguez. "Providing a smart app for customers allows us one more outlet to be customer friendly because travelers now have flight, airport, and city information at their fingertips."

“Our app is extremely well-designed with great functionality including the ability to book a flight or rent a car straight from the app,” noted Kerry Gerot, Public Affairs Officer.

The new LGB Airport app is available for free download from iTunes and Google Play for use on any of your iPhone, iPad or Android devices.
