Long Beach’s Aeroplex/Aerolease Group Supports Local Aviation Students through National Air Transportation Association
Long Beach Airport tenant Aeroplex/Aerolease Group is sponsoring the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) College Chapter program for students who are working toward bachelor’s degrees in Aviation Management. NATA College Chapters provide savings and advantages for students, such as leadership opportunities, scholarships for attending the annual NATA Aviation Business Conference, free access to Aircraft Flight Coordinator Training through Safety 1st, and more.
“We’re excited to provide students with new opportunities to gain practical, hands-on experience from experts in the aviation business industry,” said Aeroplex/Aerolease Group CEO and NATA Board Member Curt Castagna. “By partnering with other aviation companies and trade organizations, we can successfully introduce students to the diversity of careers available behind the scenes at airports –from FBO management, sales and finance to aviation law and engineering.”

Berg, A.A.E., airport director at King County International Airport, adjunct professor at CSULA and immediate past chair of the American Association of Airport Executives.
