Long Beach Airport (LGB) able to Keep Cool During a Power Outage

Long Beach Airport (LGB) was supported by generators this morning as there was a power outage in the Long Beach Airport Area Complex. The tower was still in control and operations ran fairly well as the LGB team adjusted. Southern California Edison was immediately on the scene to fix the problem and was able to get full power running within three hours. The video shows JetBlue pulling off the ramp and U.S. Airways taking off during that time. Travelers were directed to contact their airlines if they had any questions.
