Long Beach Airport (LGB) had the privilege of seeing off a group of Army National Guard from the Redondo Avenue Facility on Monday, July 1.

The group of nearly 100 soldiers will make their first stop at Fort Bliss in Texas where they will endure a few weeks of training before they head to Afghanistan for a 9 month deployment.

Staff at the Airport wished them good luck; then sent them off with a cookie and orange juice before they boarded the Sierra Pacific Air charter.
